all the colors in the world

With the onset of winter and the lack of color all about I've felt a bit uninspired lately. White on white on white is all I see as I look out my kitchen window...so when I happened upon these beauts c/o fashionising.... my heart went pitter pat as if it had just awoke from a deep winter slumber. Lace and color color color with the contrast of black...so finally with a little kick in my pants (those oh so boring jeans i've been wearing almost every day) I burrowed into my wardrobe seeking COLOR for the first time in months.

...and ended up with this scarf...but, hey, you gotta start somewhere!

I love wearing color during the winter, and that scarf is so, so lovely. You're looking gorgeous as usual.

I like the way you incorporated color through the scarf, shoes and your beautifully done lips! I'm really big on wearing color, and I'll try pretty much any color, any time of year, but especially in the winter.

I think black is really great at anchoring color in a way that makes it seem wonderfully winter appropriate :)

Gorgeous scarf!

I'm currently inspired by all fall colors even though it's winter. But since there are no real seasons in LA, I can pretty much dress however I want all year long and just throw on a coat or light jacket when it gets cold. Right now I'm all about wearing my bright tights with every outfit.

I think the outfit is just right. Perfect winter-to-spring outfit, I love the black and army green with the bright accessory. AND THOSE SHOES. My god. I would kill for those.

I just stumbled in your blog thanks to Kelley Anne http://kaleidoscopicrefrains.blogspot.com/
and it is marvellous! I 've read some of your posts and I really appreciate your style!
I live in Italy and even if winter lasts a short time, it really depresses me and I'm totally uninspired. Anyway the best thing to do is to put on something colored!

Most of my wardrobe is full of bold/bright colors and prints, so I guess they inspire me as well. :)

You look beautiful! I adore your scarf and your shoes. The good thing about winter dressing is being able to pile on the accessories -- fascinators, scarves, gloves, etc. I'll miss that during the summer!
